Founded in 1983, Scitech Group has successfully established itself as a leader in telecommunication and system integrator. The acheivement is clearly exhibited on its products and services which are well recognized by its public and private customers.

As one of the developing country, Thailand will be a significant market for telecommunication and information technology business. The group will keep pace and maintain its major participation with the rapid changes in this new world economy.

Founded : 1983 ( 2526 )
The company has started its business in Key Telephone and PABX  business by representing Nitsuko Corp. of Japan   (Present subsidiary of NEC Corporation)
Year : 1986 ( 2529 )
Scitech has expanded its telecom business line to the Radio Frequency Equipment by representing TAIT Electronics of New Zealand for land mobile radio and Trunking radio.
Year : 1987 ( 2530 )
Scitech won a contract from Telephone Organization of Thailand (TOT) for countywide radio communication project, More than 60 radio base station, 460 mobile and handheld units were supplied and installed.
Year : 1988 ( 2531 )
Scitech(Thailand) Co.,Ltd. was founded to handle all the telephone business sales and distribution of the group.

 
Year : 1989-1995 ( 2532 - 2538 )
More than 3,000 systems of RF Base Station and mobile/handheld radio had been installed nationwide by Scitech. 

Year : 1995-2000 ( 2538 - 2543 )
Scitech had extended its business line to Data Communication & Telecom tester by representing Consultronics from Canada, Voice mail and Unified messaging system from Active Voice USA, Office Automation equipments from SHARP Corp-Japan
 
Year : 2000-2003 ( 2543 - 2546 )
         After the country financial crisis and the economic situation of the country were reshaped, Scitech has captured more turnovers from government and private projects. Some of the major records were supply the "Spirent" digital line simulator to Telephone Organization of Thailand (TOT) and to National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC)









Year : 2003-2005 ( 2546 - 2548 )
With the cooperation by Shanghai Xinmin Telecom Technologies Co.,Ltd., the leading manufacturer of cellular radio equipment from China, Scitech became the main distributor in Thailand. Scitech had supplied the frequency shift repeater to AIS for the royal project "Nong-Hoi", "Mae Tung Ting" and "Mae Pae" in Chiangmai province.

        AIS had also awarded the contract to Scitech to supply cellular repeater to the royal project for the total of 34 sites in the North and in Northeastern of Thailand.

          In this year, Scitech had been appointed as the master distributor of Siemens Business Communication System.

Year : 2006-2007 ( 2549 - 2550 )
Scitech had supplied, installed more than 700 sites (Donor and remote units) for both fiber optic and frequency shift repeater to AIS. Scitech also appointed distributor of EXFO, the leader in fiber optic test equipment.

Year : 2008-2009 ( 2551 - 2552 )
Scitech has expanded its business line into In Building Coverage (IBC) for mobile wireless communication. Scitech has achieved TRUE Move 2G-3G Contract for over 100 sites wireless coverage project in Bangkok and rural area in Thailand during that period.


Year : 2010-2011 ( 2553 - 2554 )
Scitech has been chosen to be the prime contractor of Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.; the main contractor of TRUE Move for the In-Building-Coverage wireless project to enhance TRUE Move’s future expansion in 3G services.
